Activity 2!

            The drug I looked up was cocaine and after typing cocaine epidemic in to the search engine, I had received around 667,000 results. After looking over and reading through at least 5 different sources, I noticed that the major theme was addiction. I think addiction is definitely valid to the theme because it is, in fact one of the most addictive drugs. Most articles described how easy it was to make and get and how much money so little of the drug can make. Drug dealers have easy access to cocaine and always have clients who are addicted and are willing to pay large amounts. Especially towards the end of the 20^th century was when cocaine grew to form an epidemic, which spread in to several cities within the United States. People started to use cocaine routinely, which formed addiction.  According to class, cocaine if definitely a highly addictive and dangerous drug and it does consist of a huge problem for addicts. The media always presents cocaine as being the worst possible drug to try, especially in movies. They present the drug cocaine with negativity and downfall. Once addicted, it can ruin someone’s life entirely.
